The woman I will talk about is
Alejandra Matus. She is a Chilean journalist who has worked in Chilean media
such as La Tercera, La Nación, La Época, among others. She has also published
books such as Doña Lucía (2013), Mitos y verdades de las AFP (2017), Los
Archivos del Cardenal. Casos reales (2011), El libro negro de la justicia
chilena (1999), etc. This last book was censored by the government of the time,
and she was also accused of violating the State Security Law. Because of this,
she had to go into exile in the USA. Currently, she is academic at the Universidad
Diego Portales and a panelist on the news tv show Pauta Libre on La Red.
I like her because she is a journalist who
criticizes the current context of the chilean media, and also a journalist who
has lived firsthand the injustices of the system, then she understands what it is
to be violated by it.
She seems like a very brave woman
ReplyDeleteI admire her too because she has research the crimes of people in power. It is dangerous but she doesn't matter it, she is very brave!
